Josh Simmons
Ministry Manager, Downtown

In May 2010 my wife, Meggie, and I packed up a Penske truck with all of our belongings and our dog, Dexter, and headed to the city.  In October of that same year we found out that Meggie was pregnant.  I guess a move from South Carolina to NYC wasn't a big enough change for us.  Since being in the city all of my work has been Downtown so I have come to really love this area and the people there.  I am excited for what this congregation means for Redeemer and for Downtown.  I am praying that lives will continue to be transformed by the Gospel and that the Downtown congregation would play an integral part in seeing this part of the city flourish.

Dear ,
We're looking forward to our first official worship service with you!
This coming Sunday, please join us for our first worship services as a Downtown Congregation! We'll be having 9:30AM and 5:00PM services at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The main entrance for the worship service for this Sunday will be 110 West 19th Street (between 6th and 7th). The entrance for children's check-in and strollers will be at 123 West 18th Street (between 6th and 7th). All children must be checked in, which will be available starting 9:00AM.
Please note that our worship service will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, but from week to week, we may be meeting in a different venue within the building. We will have greeters and signs available each week, but the best way for you to stay updated is to check our website and this email update for details.
This worship service is a tremendous answer to prayer and will provide a great opportunity for us to worship together and to invite friends and neighbors from all around Downtown, especially over the next few weeks. We're looking forward to beginning this new chapter in our life together!

In Christ,

John Lin
Downtown Congregation Lead Pastor
