Greg Nance
Deacon

Greg is a native son of Texas, where he would surely find himself if not for the seductive charms of New York City. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and proud alumnus of The U.T. Longhorn Band (trumpet), Greg moved to the city almost 8 years ago with his sights set on a career in advertising. Months later, after accepting a friend's invitation to Redeemer, he found faith in Christ, along with lifelong friends and a beautiful wife, Hannah. When not crafting ads and slogans for brands like Dairy Queen (“So Good It's RiDQulous”), Greg enjoys playing guitar, one-wall handball, and eating the finest take out NYC has to offer in his neighborhood of Woodside, Queens.
Dear ,

A very exciting season is upon us at Redeemer. Beginning October 21, the Downtown Congregation will hold worship services each Sunday at 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM at the Metropolitan Pavilion (18th St. between 6th and 7th Ave.). Hundreds of you who have been worshiping on the East Side will join with those from the West Side and with many others around the city to form this new congregation.

A church planter at heart, I love to see new congregations begin because I believe this is central to Jesus' gospel mission to repair this broken world. He loved his church so much he gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25). He declared he would build his church and not allow anything to interfere with that (Matthew 16:18). When new churches launch, Jesus is present in dynamic new ways in that place. Imagine the changed lives!

Please be with us next Sunday, October 7, as we pray for all those among you who will be serving and worshiping in the new congregation. Join me in praying for John Lin and his entire team during this extraordinarily important time. And may our Lord's Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven through our new Downtown Congregation.
