Subject: East Side Update- August 19
19 August 2012
Community Group Intern
Born and raised in Alabama, she attended Auburn University where she earned her BFA in Theater Performance in 2010. Since graduation she has toured the country in two different children's theater tours. Mallory moved to New York in January of 2011 and immediately began attending Redeemer and working on Sundays in the Children's ministry as the Nursery Curriculum teacher (aka the basket lady). Mallory is so excited to take on the role of community group intern and serve the East Side.
I hope you have enjoyed your summer. As we prepare for the launch of a new ministry year, I'd like to ask your help with something important.
We need more Beta Group leaders. Beta Groups are seven week Community Groups primarily for those who are new to Redeemer or exploring Christianity. These groups have played a pivotal role in connecting newcomers to the life and community of our church, while providing them with a healthy place to process the Christian faith more deeply. Thank you to those of you who have previously served as Beta Group leaders.
Would you prayerfully consider recommending people you know to serve as Beta Group leaders this fall? You can even recommend yourself! We're looking for members or regular attenders of Redeemer who display a passion for God, compassion for people and a teachable spirit.
You can recommend people by filling out the Beta Group Leader Recommendation Form. Your input is invaluable to our screening process. All recommendations will be contacted to see if they are interested in leading and available to attend training. If you would like to learn more, please visit the Beta Groups website or email email@example.com.
