Dear ,

Thank you for your interest in Redeemer's East Side congregation. I'm excited to introduce here the first edition of East Side Update, a weekly distribution designed to help foster greater community among us. Both effective communication and ease of connectivity are essential to building strong community. I hope these weekly emails will help you feel better informed about the life and ministry of our congregation and make it easier for you to connect with others as we worship and serve the Lord together.

Warmly in Christ,

Rev. Leo Schuster

For Christ, your loving Savior, hath
Drunk up the wine of God’s fierce wrath
What bitter cups had been your due
Had he not drank them up for you.

— Robert Herrick
SPOTLIGHT

Edward Sirya
Director of Ministry

Each week, this section
will spotlight a member
of Redeemer East Side.

Ed grew up in Rhode Island but has always been a New Yorker at heart. He found his calling to ministry while working in biotechnology and graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2009. Since starting at Redeemer, Ed has been able to combine his love for ministry and the city. In his spare time he enjoys exploring the city with his wife, Rosalynn, finding new places to eat, reading about technology and cycling with his brother.
